We’re Rusty and Nancy Fuls — a husband-and-wife team dedicated to our customers and to each other. Married for over 40 years, we’re proud parents of four daughters, grandparents to seven wonderful grandchildren, and owners of two spirited dogs — a Shih Tzu puppy and a long-haired Chihuahua.
Rusty is a 13-year veteran of the U.S. Navy and National Guard, and Nancy brings decades of experience from the medical field. Together, we have over 30 years in the home service industry — experience built on integrity, hard work, and attention to detail.
Our journey began with a small cleaning business. Over time, as we earned our clients’ trust, many began asking us to “watch their homes” while they were away. They wanted reliable, responsible people — not house sitters who might leave things in disarray. That trust led us naturally into creating Essential Home Watch Services.
As the saying goes, “Two heads are better than one.” Together, we approach every property with teamwork and care. We’re not a big corporate outfit with fancy words or empty promises. We’re just an honest, hardworking couple who do exactly what we say we’ll do.
We chose the name Essential because we believe home watch is just that — absolutely necessary and extremely important for absentee homeowners. Over the years, we’ve seen nearly every kind of issue — roof leaks, mold, plumbing problems, storm damage — and we know that catching problems early can save thousands in costly repairs.
